Energetic, enthusiastic, and competitive, Abby is one of our account executives who uses the fire of friendly competition to ensure your brand stands out above the crowd.
Abby’s one of those people with emotional intelligence. She has a spectacular ability to connect with just about anyone on a personal level and learn their deepest desires. Maybe that’s why she was a perfect fit for the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Bachelor of Arts program in communication and media studies.
Abby’s first marketing experience began when won the Empty Bowl slogan contest in the first grade! “Fill your soul at the empty bowl” was her winning slogan (we think the idea has legs). She’s always had an interest for marketing and advertising, and connecting on a deeper level with the community – so OTA is the perfect fit!
Abby began her career as a sales territory manager selling digital marketing to the tire and automotive industry. She was involved with website development, social media and internet marketing campaigns, YouTube advertising, pay-per-click ads, and more. You name it, she sold it. Prior to that, she was responsible for the e-commerce customer care experience at Maurices and coached youth hockey.
A lover of anything and everything Minnesota, craft beer and breweries, golf, hockey and staying active – Abby, her husband, 1-year-old daughter and fox-red lab love to go to the cabin, explore new places and go for a good hike.
Developing strategies that can open clients’ minds to new possibilities gives me a rush. My creative strategizing starts with a good cup of coffee, followed by a quick walk in the woods, which clears my mind and generates fresh ideas.
