With a mass communications degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead, for years Pippi has used the written word to draw people in and inform or entertain them.
Pippi always knew she wanted to write. In college, like every other student there, she dreamed of writing for Rolling Stone or publishing the next great American novel. Being a realist though, she also knew she needed a job after graduation, so she went to work in the newspaper industry. Capitalizing on opportunity (and turning 40), she reinvented herself and is now happily experiencing the diverse and creative world of Out There Advertising
As a journalist, Pippi always said she learned a little bit about everything. Now she’s learning even more, which keeps her coming back for more. Aside from writing newspaper and magazine articles for the last 15 years, she also has written two history books, grants, press releases, social media posts and pretty much anything else that needs a crafted word or two.
In her free time, Pippi likes traveling and exploring new places with her daughter, hiking, DIY projects and reading.
